Pink for October

FreeBingo goes pink for October October is ‘Breast Cancer Awareness’ month. In support of this FreeBingo is going 'Pink for October'.

This month we have opened a pink-tastic bingo room, complete with our first ever female bingo caller.

More women than ever in the UK are surviving breast cancer thanks to better awareness, better screening and better treatments. However, in the time taken to read this, another woman in the UK has been diagnosed with the disease.

Over 44,000 women in the UK are diagnosed every year, and statistics show that 1 in 9 women will develop breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. Even men are not immune from the disease, with 300 cases each year. It is therefore important you check yourself regularly, and know what to look out for.
