Auto Claim Now in More Rooms
In recent months we have been experimenting with an auto-claim option.
As the name suggests, what this does is automatically claim the bingo for you, rather than you having to press the button yourself.
We first tested the idea as a stand-alone room, which we dubbed the ‘Auto-Autumn Room’ and the response was mainly positive, but there were still lots of players who missed the excitement of having to press the claim button themselves.
So once that room closed, we tried again by giving players the option to choose between auto claim and manual claim, and it seems to provide the correct middle ground.
If you like the feature you can let it claim for you, and if you don’t, you can quickly de-select it from the options to put manual claim back on.
WHICH ROOMS NOW HAVE AUTO CLAIM?
Now that we are happy with the response from players, we have today rolled out this option and applied it across most of our bingo rooms.
The only rooms that won’t have an auto-claim option are the Dabbers Only rooms (for obvious reasons) and also Eric’s Prize Room, simply because in that event it is the first player to claim bingo who gets a prize, so it has to remain a manual claim room for this reason.
You can therefore currently find the auto-claim option in the following rooms:
- Valentine’s Room.
- High Street.
- Gold Room.
- Diamond Room.
- F1 Speed Room.
- Steeplechase Room.
- The Green House.
- The Dog House.
- Canada 75.
- USA 75.
- Super Sunday Tournament Room.
HOW TO SWITCH BETWEEN AUTO & MANUAL CLAIM
By default, all of the rooms listed above will be auto claim when you enter the room.
If you want to switch this off and claim manually, then all you have to do is select OPTIONS and then un-check the ‘auto bingo’ box (pictured right).
WHY DO THIS?
To be honest, auto claim is pretty much standard across every bingo site we can think of, so really it should be a question of why haven’t we done this earlier!
The advantages are obvious in that it will allow players a bit of free time if they need to go away from their screen for a moment, or if they wish to concentrate on the chat (particularly during chat games).
Plus, if you wish to have a look at any of the online bingo sites advertised around the game, you can do so in the knowledge that clicking on the banner will not mean you have to miss out on your FreeBingo fun at the same time.
Ultimately, it is about giving our players the choice to choose which they prefer best. Not everyone wants auto, not everyone wants manual, but at least this way it is simple and easy for everyone to have it how they like.
