Here we reveal which musicians and songs are linked to each of our new musical bingo calls.
MUSICAL BINGO CALLS
1: One Step Beyond. A hit for Madness in 1979 which reached #7 in the UK charts.
2: Bono and Crew, U2. Irish rock band, U2, led by lead singer Bono.
3: The Magic Number A hit for De La Soul in 1990.
4: The Four Tops. American vocal quarter who reached #1 in the UK in 1966 with "Reach Out I’ll be There".
5: The Jackson Five. Motown quintet featuring a young Michael Jackson.
6: Drumsticks The traditional bingo call for number six.
7: S Club 7 Famous UK pop act who had four UK #1 hits.
8: Eight Days a Week. A popular Beatles song which reached #1 in the US in 1965.
9: Chico Time. A UK #1 hit in 1996 for former X-Factor contestant Chico.
10: Eminem. Controversial US rapper also known as Marshall Mathers III.
11: Hot Legs. A hit for Rod Stewart in 1978.
12: Peggy Sue. Rock and roll song by Buddy Holly released in 1957.
13: Yellow Submarine. Song and film released by the Beatles in the late 1960’s.
14: Al Green. An American gospel and soul music singer.
15: Springsteen. Bruce Springsteen, winner of 18 Grammy awards.
16: Chuck Berry - Sweet Sixteen. ’Sweet Little Sixteen’ was a hit for Chuck Berry in 1958.
17: Abba - Dancing Queen. This song by Swedish pop group Abba reached #1 in 13 countries.
18: Billie Jean. #1 hit for the ’King of Pop’, Michael Jackson.
19: N-n-n-n-n-nineteen. Paul Hardcastle song released in 1985.
20: T-Rex - 20th Century Boy. This song reached #3 in the UK charts in 1973.
21: 21 Seconds to go. #1 hit in 2001 for UK garage act So Solid Crew.
22: The Who English rock band most famous for the hit ’My Generation’.
23: It wasn’t me. #1 UK hit for reggae artist, Shaggy.
24: 24 Hours From Tulsa. Famous song by the great Gene Pitney.
25: Stage Dive. The act of leaping from a stage onto the crowd below.
26: In the mix. A term for when a DJ mixes different musical tracks.
27: Stairway to Heaven. Led Zepellin track voted 3rd greatest rock song of all time by VH1 in 2000.
28: Dire Straits. English rock band formed in 1977 by Mark Knopfler.
29: Let it Shine. Lyrics taken from ’Shine’ by Take That which reached #1 in 2007.
30: E.L.O (Three and Oh) Rock group known as the Electric Light Orchestra.
